Description
This mod adds a fast travel (maproom) system to the Isle of Siptah map

Description

The mod ports an "Exiled Lands style" Maproom system to Siptah with some minor QoL simplifications (pre-placed maprooms, compact size, no need to learn or craft).
  • There are 11 Obelisks you can unlock by interacting with them, after which you can fast-travel to these
  • There are NO recipes to learn or placeable maprooms, however there is an admin-spawned one just in case.
  • Each obelisk has a compact sign-post style maproom nearby as a static part of the map that any player can use (avoids people having to build public maprooms)

The mod only works on the Isle of Siptah (but it doesn't cause any harm if loaded on other maps, it just won't do anything)

Workshop ID
3399368242

Compatibility:
Compatible with everything.

The mod does not contain any basegame assets and doesn't have ANY load order requirements.
It is safe to add / remove at any point even in the middle of a playthrough as it doesn't break your save file in any way.
While the mod will get updates for bugfixes (if we find some), it will not need to be updated when the game updates, unless Funcom changes something very drastic in the core functioning of the game.

The only thing you need to keep an eye out for is when enabling it for maps you already have player buildings on, since the locations of the obelisks might intersect with these.

Some of my other mods:
  • The Purge Mod (Introduces a similar system to the old purge)
  • Simple Minimap (Helps you see where you're going.. it's a minimap that works with controllers too)
  • Twin-Bar (Doubles the capacity of your shortcut bar by allowing you to place 2 items in each and individually swap between them with hotkeys)
  • Armor and Weapon Stats in Bench (shows you the stats of things in the bench before crafting)
  • Reliable Meteor Showers (tiny super-lightweight mod that makes meteors rain sooner if there are less than 5 nodes on the map, solving the issue of scarce star metal - also adds the smoke back to meteor nodes that was removed in Chapter 2)
  • The Damage Meter (measure yours and your followers damage done / taken and dps, can also track 3 additional players)
  • All of the others...

Update Policy
  • My mods are built to remain compatible and almost never need updates when the game itself is updated. ?Outdated? warnings from hosts (like gportal) can be ignored - they only compare version numbers between the game and the devkit, which don?t matter unless basegame files are altered.

  • Updates happen at my discretion. If I need to update a mod, I will. Please avoid telling me when I should or should not update my mods. If that is a problem, you are free not to use the mod.

  • Mod mismatch errors are not caused by the mods themselves. It?s simply the game telling you that the mod version you have is not the same as the one on the server. For more info, or to get the previous version of the mod, visit the Discord.

@NB - the old ones were visible in the attached pictures above, however I updated them now to show the newly added ones in the last update, so just look at the attached image of the signpost which has all locations unlocked

Siptah however is not part of the devkit as it's a paid DLC, so can't use any assets from that

Nah, I prefer the one I made here, the EL maprooms are big and clunky.. also that would require designing and 3D modeling one based on the siptah map, which is a lot of extra work for no real benefit

You should make like map room as like in the Exiled Lands
