Funcom removed this a couple of years ago for seemingly no real reason in one of their updates, this mod adds those back as well.
I have a feeling that what you currently assume to be the "smoke" of the meteors is just the small amount of very subtle smoke from the actual fire vfx that plays for a bit right as they land, but that's not what this is referring to.
You'll notice immediately if you see a meteor with the mod active what I'm talking about in case it's the above. There's a small chance you have some other mod that also adds smoke to them, though I don't know of any so I doubt it :)
Meteors already do have smoke in my game, i do mean the landed ones, not the ones still burning in the sky, those are just fireballs
if you meant the sky ones have smoke now, cool, disregard this, but if you mean the grounded ones, then we might have a wee bit of a conflict, but still, probably a harmless one.
Other times it was backwards and I kept getting told to update a mod that simply didn't need to be updated. So it's just there as a reminder for people to leave the updates to me lol.
