Desolate Lands

Description
Custom areas added to the Exiled Lands and revamps of some vanilla regions made with the Hyborian Age setting in mind.

** Some areas of this map are still a WIP and are subject to change. Please keep that in mind!**

This map includes a few new dungeons: King's Niche can be found in its vanilla location, Festering Crypt can be found within The Dirgewood, west of the Mounds of the Dead, and Unearthed Tomb can be found south over in D3 on the map. There are a few locations still being fully worked on outside of the map bounds. Updates will follow with announcements in Discord.

There are a few off map regions suitable for DMs / Admins to setup interiors for buildings or offmap builds. Teleport coordinates are posted below for these stages.

- Bear this in mind if you are trying to use another mod which adds content to the Exiled Lands. The majority of other map addition mods will NOT be compatible, as this map is intended to be a standalone revamp.

Hey all! Just wanted to pop in here and mention that an early test version of the map should be live within the next week or two... ish. I hate giving timeframes because sometimes I lose sight of them and/or encounter other issues. Anyway, most of the landscaping is complete now, so I'm mainly working on post processing and lighting at the moment, getting that finalized. Everything's looking awesome so far except for the lighting out in the north-east marshlands, which I can't quite get the fog as dense as it was on UE4, but I'mma keep playing around with it.

I am also working on an entire Telith and Kaldheim overhaul which is taking a little bit of time to complete. It's totally worth it though. Telith is pretty much done and looks fantastic. I'm working on Kaldheim next and it shouldn't take as long as Telith did. Telith's Island is very well optimized now, so that's exciting.

Can I write my own information on the map's monoliths? They're empty. Is there any way to interact with them (for example, in the castle on Telith Island)? (UE4)

I made it clear in a post further down that I am working on updating the map for UE5. It takes time. I am encountering issues with it, so please be patient. It'll happen eventually.
