Yeah, those sounds effects are practically impossible to hear in combat; I think most people wanted the attack sounds and sheathe / unsheathe sounds to change. Though I don't know how feasible that is to change.

for those who can't hear the sound effect, turn up the sound effects, and move to a fairly quiet area.

they look amazing - but they seem just a liiiiitle bit too thin and short. maybe thats just me though!
