Thanks to its adjustable formula system, Grimoire can be adapted to any progression model, stats, and maximum level, and the basic properties of each spell can be adjusted within a wide range of possibilities.

It's fairly obvious that this mod isn't fully compatible with others that change the shortcut panel's appearance, but that's no reason to deprive yourself of magic - just move Grimoire lower in your modlist, and that will likely resolve the issue.

  • Where can I find the Grimoire? Is it located in the world?
    No. Powerful magic books are not just lying around anywhere — it (or its feat) must be obtained directly from the administrator, or by any of the methods determined by them.

  • Can I change the mod's control keys?
    Yes. You can view the current list in the Grimoire key binding settings, accessible by pressing the Esc key.

  • How do I switch the extended shortcut panel?

  • Can I restrict the use of certain Spell/Mastery to the players?
    Yes. To do this, you need to do a little magic with the formula editor, by setting the value <locked1> for selected ability, that make it unavailable to everyone without exception, or, for example, <locked1-{featYourCustomFeatID}, linking the availability of the spell (or an entire school of mastery) to the character having a certain perk. You can add custom feats by your own simple mod.

    Да. Для этого Вам необходимо слегка поколдовать с редактором формул, установив для необходимой способности значение <locked1>, что сделает её недоступной для всех без исключения, или же, к примеру <locked1-{featYourCustomFeatID}>, привязав доступность заклинания (или же целой школы мастерства) к наличию у персонажа определённого перка. Добавить кастомные перки вы можете при помощи своего мода.

@Pulsar Shield Yes, but there is a conflict. To see the hotbar (From Grimoire) you currently have to disable the one that comes in ToT HUD. But all other elements work just fine.

@noclafyrG, I am working on this feature at the request of one of the sponsors – it will most likely be completed after the transfer to UE5. As for the numerical values of the indicators, they are enabled in the same way as everything else: via the ‘Show Bar Values’ option in the standard settings

is it possible to make the UI customizable? I find the mana bar to be in a very awkward position and would very much like the option to have a numbered read of my mana level

@Emperors_Nightmare, I’ve got that in mind, but someone (clearly pointing the finger at the developers) is dragging their feet about giving all modders the updated devkit in advance, so we can get on with the work rather than waiting until 5 May just to get started.

@Satan, to be honest, I haven’t got any plans to do that at the moment – it would involve too much reworking.

Please, I beg you, add the fireball for the left hand, i used to use it a lot in games like Skyrim or Dark Souls, Tank/mage strategy, swapping the shield for ranged magic is art

A minor update has been released, allowing you to save and load the mod’s current settings to a file using commands, which is particularly useful in the run-up to the upcoming update.

@Zero_Zorn, Initially, yes. I’ve contacted the developers via the official form to request access to the Updated DevKit — let’s see if they get back to me soon.

@kvas2021, some bug maybe. Or an ally target lock, if you use them.
